The countdown has started. Only 8 Months till the 2018 MB Winter Games. Swimming is included in phase 2 of the games, and it’s not too early to start thinking about participating. The games are being held March 4-10, 2018 in Thompson MB! Phase 2 (swimming) is March 7-10
Sport MB has re-aligned the boundaries for regions, and Steinbach becomes part of the Southern Region. Sport MB along with Swim MB are just beginning to put together information, and details we become available over the next few months. In the mean time, here is an early look:
- List of events can be found here
- Summer Swimmers are not eligible. In the Southern Region, there are the Skimmers and the Central Plains SeaLions from Portage
- There will not be a qualifying meet. Team eligibility will be decided from regular swim season results
- Age category criteria applies as follows:
